The Canadian Centre for Child Protection (C3P), which operates Cybertip.ca, is registered charity dedicated to the personal safety of children. We rely upon our partners, foundations, as well as donations to deliver our essential services.

Private Sector Support

Our partnership with the private sector has benefited countless Canadian children who are safer today as a result of our combined efforts.

Public Sector Support

The Government of Canada has provided ongoing support to Cybertip.ca since May 2004. Public Safety Canada’s steadfast support under the National Strategy for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation on the Internet is essential to the success of operating the national tipline.

C3P receives support from the Government of Manitoba and is a designated agency in the province to receive reports under The Child and Family Services Act (Manitoba), as well as to provide supports and information pursuant to The Intimate Image Protection Act (Manitoba).

Cybertip.ca’s Project Arachnid initiative is supported, in part, by the Home Office in the United Kingdom.

Law Enforcement Allies

Cybertip.ca works closely with law enforcement agencies across the country to help protect children from online sexual abuse and exploitation.

The tipline is supported by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and Criminal Intelligence Service of Canada (CISC). The National Child Exploitation Crime Centre (NCECC), part of the RCMP, works with Cybertip.ca under the Government of Canada’s National Strategy for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation on the Internet to coordinate and support national child sexual exploitation investigations. To date the Canadian Centre has signed protocols with 28 law enforcement services across the country, with the intent of providing law enforcement with resources for the public.
